Tree trimming Donald decides to use his clippers to torment and traumatize Chip and Dale. Things go a little too far when his lawn mower enters the picture, and Donald quickly learns to regret it.

Trivia

One of the things that stands out most in this short is the continuity. In most cartoons, when something happens to disfigure a character, they are usually back to normal within the next scene or two, as though nothing had ever happened; However, in "Out on a Limb," when Donald mows over Chip and Dale's heads with a lawn mower, they retain their crew-cuts for the length of the cartoon, sporting them until the very end.
