Chip and Dale find their way into Donald's zoo, where they discover a new source of food - piles and piles of peanuts. To gain access to all the peanuts they can eat, the chipmunks have to pair up against zookeeper Donald and an elephant named Dolores in a battle of wits. Who will come out on top? Is there any question?

Trivia

This cartoon was produced and originally shown in cinemas in 3-D format, as was the Warner Bros animated short "Lumber Jack-Rabbit" a year later.  Both shorts were showcased (along with a handful of other 3-D produced shorts from the Golden Age of animation) at the World 3-D Film Expo in 2003.
